New Leadership, Built on Petaluma’s Values
There’s something about Petaluma that’s hard to explain to people who haven’t lived here. Maybe it’s the river, or the chickens, or the fact that you can’t go to the grocery store without running into someone you know. Growing up on the Eastside taught me that this is a city that takes care of its own. That’s the Petaluma I love, and it’s worth fighting for.
Friends and Neighbors of District 3
I'm the son of immigrants who came to Petaluma looking for one thing: a place to call home. I watched my parents nearly lose that home during the 2008 financial crisis, when my dad was out of work for years. I've watched friends get priced out of the city we grew up in. I've taken nothing here for granted because I've seen up close what it costs to hold on to a home in Petaluma, and what happens to families who can't.
Roots matter. But roots alone don't pay the bills, keep the lights on, or tell you what it's like to watch your own family struggle. District 3 deserves a councilmember who isn't just from here, but who understands, firsthand, what it takes for families like mine to make ends meet.
I believe in a Petaluma that works for everyone. Where families can age with dignity and stay for generations, not just a few years. Where we protect the air, water, and land that make this place worth staying in. Where my friends can finally buy a home. That's the fight I'm ready to bring to City Hall.
I would be honored to represent you as your next Councilmember.
Thank you,
